CHEMICAL PEELS The Dental Spa

CHEMICAL PEELS

Peels are highly effective in promoting a smoother texture while restoring youthful skin with a radiant glow.

ZO STIMULATOR PEEL

The ZO Stimulator Peel is a “lunchtime” peel that offers no downtime. A revolutionary combination of salicylic, lactic, and citric acids exfoliates away dead skin cells and stimulates cellular turnover to reduce fine lines and improve skin tone and texture.

GLYMED PEELS

Glymed has perfected both Jessner and TCA blended peels. This company has a wide range of peels to help address any skin condition or concerns. Mild to severe peeling can occur depending on the treatment plan.
With all peels, you want to avoid working out for 24-48 hours—no sun exposure for the following week, along with not using any retinol or exfoliating products. Peels can be performed a month apart and recommended in series of 3.

The Facial Lounge offers a wide variety of peels that can customize to your specific skin type, with downtime ranging from “go back to work” to aggressive peels. Sun exposure, acne, and aging can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted, or scarred. Peels are highly effective in promoting a smoother texture while restoring youthful skin with a radiant glow. Outer layers peel away and reveal new, pink layers beneath.

The medical-grade peels offered at The Facial Lounge can address different skin concerns such as acne, melasma, sun damage, discoloration, and aging skin. Most patients can benefit from medical-grade peels. If you have sensitive skin, these peels may not be the best option for you. To find out if you can benefit from medical-grade peels, consult with one of our providers at our office.

Peels are very safe, cause minimal discomfort, and can be done at different depths (light, medium or deep) — depending on your desired results. Deeper peels produce more dramatic results but also involve longer recovery times. Our experienced clinical team can recommend a peel treatment that would provide you with optimal results.

With all the peels, you want to avoid working out for 24-48 hours—no sun exposure for the following week, along with not using any retinol or exfoliating products. Peels can be performed a month apart and recommended in a series of 3.
